The CHILL team presented their findings from recent work on Sustainable Healthcare Innovations in Low to Middle Income Countries. This included studies around patient safety, healthcare improvement and innovation.
Delegates from China, The Philippines, Brazil and Iran also had the opportunity to discuss the health needs of their respective countries which range from; new and emerging diseases, ageing populations and transforming healthcare for sustainability.
Professor Justin Waring and Dr Stephen Timmons said: “This was a great event and provided a fantastic opportunity to develop CHILL’s work with international partners including how NHS UK can learn from healthcare systems elsewhere in the world”.
This year’s event marked the fourth anniversary of the launch of CHILL.
